Episode II

ATTACK OF THE MERRY MEN

Having successfully ridded itself of the deadly tollbooth blockade thus restoring free trade throughout England, the small village of Nottingham attempts to return to a life of peace. However, the evil Sheriff's power is rising and Nottingham is again thrust into the heart of turmoil. Forces are being marshaled and weapons readied. Beware, war fast approaches and Sherwood again shall see the brunt.

MAY 17-19, 2002 We will be located in scenic Old Stone Fort State Park, Coffee County.

EVENTS WILL INCLUDE:

Fighting:
(Armor inspection starts at 10am)
The ever popular Wheel of Doom Tourney (11am)
Warlord Tourney (1pm)
Woods Battle-archers welcome!(3pm)

Archery Tournament (9-noon, go shoot at any time)

Bacchian Venting & Brewing Contest

Classes
Schedule: 9-10: Gold Bullion work - $5 Fee, Theodelinda of Wenlock, OL
9-10: Intro to Illumination - Lady Aine of Glencoe
10-11: Better Basic Costuming - Mistress Theodelinda
1-2: Making Viking Bead Necklaces - Mistress Theodelinda - fee if student decides to buy their beads from her
3-4: Geometric Blackwork - $2 fee, Mistress Theodelinda

The Poacher's FEAST: Saturday evening - in spirit of Sherwood Forest

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-24 to Manchester, TN; take Exit 110 south on Route 53 until it ends on US 41 in a 'T' style intersection. Turn right towards Old Stone Fort. The site is approximately 1 mile down US 41 and is located on left side of the highway. Be on the lookout for SCA signs!
